Introducing The Premier Online Health-First
Fitness Coaching Program For Older Men
Who Are Ready to Start Getting RESULTS

To the desperate man who is ready to make a change today:

Hi, I’m John. If you’re desperate for a change and ready for a radical fitness transformation, to finally start getting the results you want, to make 2016 the year that you turned it all around, and to remember what life was like when you were younger, then I’d love the honor of being your coach.

You see, I’m looking for a few good men.

Men of character and men of courage. Men who will admit that they don’t “have it all together” – that they need help. And men who are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals – who have a burning desire to succeed (or wish to cultivate and fuel such a desire until it is a white-hot inferno).

And most importantly, I’m looking for men of action – not mere “wishful thinkers.”

If that’s you, then please read the rest of this page very carefully so that you know what you’re getting yourself into, and act quickly. Because based on the initial response I’ve gotten after announcing this last week, I suspect that this will fill up fast.

What I’m Offering

This is a three month one-on-one online coaching program that gives you the tools you need to succeed in making lifelong changes that will positively impact your health, fitness, and quality of life for the rest of your life.

More specifically, this is not a generic online coaching program that utilizes automation software, workout templates, or cookie-cutter solutions for a large clientele. Nor is it a program where there’s only one coach with dozens or even hundreds of clients. Instead, this is one coach working with you personally to figure out exactly what you need to do to succeed.

This is the only place that I’m aware of, where you can receive health-first fitness coaching online. In my opinion, this is the only effective long-term training philosophy and practice, and it’s darn-near essential for the aged trainee who has some wear and tear to account for.

What’s Included in the Monthly Coaching Program:

If you sign up, you’ll receive:

  • Custom program design based on your unique needs, goals, and training preferences
  • Strategic habit coaching to get the best bang for your buck results
  • Personal support, accountability, and encouragement to keep you on track

Your “curriculum” will entail:

Precision fitness training – Training smarter instead of harder so that you get the most out of whatever time you can devote to training.

Nutritional guidance – Figuring out the diet that will help you achieve your goals while still enjoying everything that food has to offer.

Rest, recovery, and other stress-management techniques – Maximize your results and minimize the risk of injury.

Mental training strategies and success coaching – I will teach you how to change your thoughts to change your destiny until you start to believe that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to.

Sounds too good to be true? This is how it’s supposed to be! But I should reiterate that it will not be easy. Change never is. That’s a given. But I’ll take all of the guesswork out of it for you and show you the clearest path forward.

Meet Your Coach

That’s me with my wife, Renée.

Hi, I’m John and for the last ten years, I’ve been helping people achieve their health and fitness goals using an unconventional approach known as health-first fitness.

This is something I discovered out of necessity when I was an athlete riddled with injuries, and stuck in physical therapy – feeling sorry for myself.

And today, I’m going to tell you a story that I haven’t shared with many people before, which will hopefully help you figure out if I’m your guy or not.

From Injured and Disabled to Indestructible

I believe that humans were designed to be strong, healthy, happy, and free for a lifetime. That we can function independently well-into old age. That graceful aging is not only possible, it’s our birthright. And if you’ve settled for anything less, then you don’t know what you’re missing.

My name is John Sifferman, and I’m a health-first fitness coach. And it’s remarkable that I can say that because not too long ago, I was a mess.

To make a very long story short, I ran myself into the ground. Years of poor training and lifestyle habits caught up with me until I could barely even walk normally – let alone run without severe pain (a difficult situation for a competitive runner). And ironically, this was the same year that I won the Athlete of the Year award at my school. So, sure, I was doing everything right by my coach’s, teacher’s, and parent’s standards, and yet, I ended up being weak and debilitated. And at the time, nobody knew how serious this problem was – not even me.

And eventually, despite my best intentions and a “suck it up” attitude, it got so bad that I couldn’t run at all – period. Climbing stairs became a challenge. Even walking hurt. And my knees were talking a foreign language. Over the course of the next few years that I spent in physical therapy, I was told by two different doctors that my injuries were so severe I would never be able to run again or otherwise function like a normal human being – for the rest of my life – which was a hard thing to swallow for a young man hoping for a career in the military. And at the time, I believed them, since nothing seemed to alleviate my symptoms and I couldn’t even run ten feet without significant pain.

The grand crescendo was that after working with several different physical therapists and finally finding one that showed some promise, my medical insurance company informed me that they would no longer be covering my PT sessions because I had maxed out the policy. I was still very much disabled from my own doing, and now I was on my own. That’s when I hit rock-bottom.

Obviously, these circumstances altered my life in every way. It felt like I had a rug pulled out from under me and I had landed flat on my face. After school, and upon accepting the fact that my childhood dream of a career in the military just wasn’t in the cards anymore, I went into a state of suppressed depression, the effects of which lingered with me almost ten years later – mainly because I was afraid to face the reality of my situation. And as silly as it sounds, I had to go through a grieving process before I could completely move on.

Fortunately, I got back on the right track within a few years of hearing the news that would change my life forever. You see, after being told that I would be permanently disabled, and after believing it for a few years, I realized how much this negative belief was harming not only me, but those around me – my family, friends, clients, and others. And I couldn’t take it anymore! I was sick and tired of what I had become.

So, after a dark period of being angry and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to prove those doctors wrong. But more importantly, I decided to prove to myself not only that I could get strong, healthy, and be able to run again, but that I could live a normal life on my terms and do the things I love. I was tired of sitting on the sidelines while my friends were playing soccer or Frisbee. And I was tired of suffering for weeks after making the foolish decision to go on a day hike again. And obviously, I was tired of not being able to run, which has been a passion of mine since high school.

Now, the way I saw it, if poor training habits got me into this mess, then good training habits might be able to get me out. So, I made up my mind – the turning point for me – and began a long journey of self-discovery that not only changed everything about the way I approach fitness, but everything about my life, too.

And today, things are quite different. I’m happy to report that these days, I not only walk and run as often and as far as I’d like on any given day, I also climb mountains and play sports. And while I have had some aches and pains here and there over the years, I actually haven’t experienced an injury in several years (i.e. well, if you don’t count that stupid paintballing accident…bachelor parties!), which is remarkable considering my history and how active I am these days.

Most importantly, I’m able to be the best husband and father that my wife and kids need and deserve. I have no trouble keeping up with my four young, hyperactive kids. And I plan to keep it that way.

Now, my story may be unique, but it certainly isn’t extraordinary. And I’m no super-athlete either. The fact of the matter is that there are many people who have faced much harder circumstances than I have who have overcome their challenges and become incredible athletes, runners, and fitness enthusiasts. Case in point: I still have all of my limbs. So, don’t think that I’m claiming to be something I’m not. I’m just an ordinary guy who loves to train and wants to share this love for fitness with others. You see, I’ve found that what I’ve learned from this journey has been invaluable not just to me, but for people from all walks of life. And ever since I’ve overcome my challenges, people have been asking me for help overcoming theirs.

So, my journey led me to becoming a health-first fitness coach, and I’ve been teaching this philosophy and practice to people from all walks of life for the past decade. And so, I created this coaching program to share a new paradigm of fitness that I discovered through many trials and triumphs that have enabled me to not only recover from severe chronic injuries, but also to become a strong, resilient man who is able to enjoy a physically-active life full of adventure.

I don’t just teach health-first fitness. I live it because it has enabled me to do what I love and to live on my terms.

So, while I’ve never experienced aging, I know what old feels like.

It feels like not being able to do what you love – missing out on many of life’s joys. It feels like being weak, powerless, and incapable. It feels like life is passing you by and you’re just waiting.

And then there’s the actual pain, which seeps its way into your life – affecting you not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, too.

And I don’t want that for anyone because I remember what it’s like.

I want you to be strong, healthy, happy, and free to live the life you want – the life you deserve.

So, enough about me – let’s talk about you. And where you’re going.

No “Secret Tricks” And No Nonsense. Just Strategic Changes and Good Old-Fashioned Hard Work.

This program can change your life. I know this because I’ve witnessed it over and over again in the lives of the people I’ve helped.

The truth is that the very moment that you begin to change your thoughts to a more positive mindset, you will begin to improve your health since your mental and physical health are interminably linked.

Within a week or two, you’ll start feeling better, and you’ll start to notice improvements in your health. If you’re tracking your body composition, you’ll notice changes there, too. You might have to tighten your belt a notch. Or, you’ll discover some muscles you didn’t know you had.

In a month’s time, you’ll realize that life has gotten a little easier. Your day to day activity isn’t as difficult, and your leisure time is a little more enjoyable. You’ll start to affirm that you made the right choice.

After a few months, you’ll likely have lost some fat, eliminated some aches and pains, and greatly increased your energy levels. But more importantly, your perspective will have changed – about who you are, about what’s possible, and about where you’re going.

You’ll be more confident, more empowered, and you’ll have a brighter vision for your future.

You’ll have set the stage for ongoing success towards whatever goals you choose to pursue.

Here’s what to expect if you get accepted into the program (the details):

I’ll be accepting a small number of clients for a 3-month online coaching “block,” during which we will tackle your most important fitness goals.

If you choose to trust me as your coach and follow my lead, you’ll get some of the best fitness and transformation results you’ve ever experienced and you’ll lay the groundwork for many years of success in the future.

I’m only looking for serious clients who are committed to succeeding, and are willing to commit to the full three months in order to prove it to me and to themselves.

If approved, then after your payment goes through, you will receive some paperwork to fill out (e.g. health questionnaire) and submit to me prior to working together.

We will have an initial consultation via phone or Skype – your preference – to chart a course for the next three months – establishing your most important goals and a basic plan to achieve them.

You will submit one weekly report to me via email detailing whatever feedback and/or progress / results necessary to achieve your goals. And I will send you one email update per week with your coaching instructions and any changes to your plan.

Note: if you don’t get accepted during the first round, I will put you on a waiting list, in the event that I take on my clients in the future or if someone drops out.

I will offer a 100% money-back guarantee within 15 days of purchase. So, if we work together for a couple of weeks, and it’s just not working out, or not what you expected (etc.), I will refund you everything. The short time frame is because I suspect that there will be a waiting list, and I’d like to offer your spot to someone else ASAP.

So, here’s the deal. I’ll provide you with the absolute best coaching of which I am capable if you will commit to the process and make the strategic changes I instruct you to make.

How does that sound?

So, if you apply to the program and get accepted, here’s what will happen, in a nutshell:

1) I’m going to send you some paperwork and ask you a lot of questions.

2) You’re going to do a LOT of talking so that I can get to know you really well.

3) Based on what you tell me, I’m going to make some strategic recommendations that you and I are both confident that you can follow through with.

4) You are going to take massive action on those recommendations – like your life depended on it (it does!).

5) You are going to get great results from said action and be thrilled that you made the decision to work with me.

Why am I doing this?

I discovered the power of online coaching last year when an acquaintance of mine asked me – no, practically begged me – to help her with her health and fitness goals.

I agreed, and ever since then, I’ve coached her via email. And it’s been a really wonderful thing for both of us, in ways that I didn’t expect.

Something I learned is that I was able to encourage more meaningful change through online coaching (i.e. from a distance), than I often could with many of my in-person clients. There are several reasons for this, and I think the main one is that many personal training clients have trouble making the necessary changes at home. They do great while they’re with their trainer. They have good workouts, and leave feeling better than when they came in. But when they go home, they don’t make any changes to the other 165+ hours a week that they’re not training. And so, they perpetually struggle to achieve their goals.

Now, with online training, it’s less about the session, and more about what you do with the other 165+ hours per week. And obviously, with online coaching, all you get is homework. So, there’s a certain mentality going into it that it’s on YOU.

But here’s the thing: not only have I been able to help my friend with her health and fitness goals this past year – simply by communicating via email on a weekly basis – I’ve also learned a lot about her – what makes her tick, what she really struggles with, what she’s uniquely good at, and much more.

One of the misconceptions I had about online coaching is that it would be less personal than coaching in person. But that hasn’t been the case at all.

Thus, the reason for opening up some space in my schedule to train some older men, for the purpose of getting to know you in much the same way.

Working with a small group of gentlemen will help me immensely in that I’ll start to better understand who you are, where you’re coming from, and how I can help you achieve your goals. Surveys and email correspondence are very helpful, yes. But coaching brings with it a certain level of understanding that other means cannot.

And if I’m starting a whole newsletter with the intention of growing it over the long-term to serve as many men as possible, it only makes sense that I should do things right from the start.

And getting a deep understanding – an insider’s perspective – of who you are and what you need, is a critical part of that.

How Much Does It Cost?

The price is $325 per month, paid in advance. Or, if you want to pay up front, I’ll knock $100 off for a total price of $875.

Note: If you are interested in this, but cannot afford it, and would be willing to consider some kind of “group coaching” program that I could offer at a lower rate, please click here to let me know (SURVEY). I want to meet your needs, whatever they may be. And if that means offering something else, I’ll make it happen. I just need to know exactly what you want.

What do you get for that price?

Whatever you need to succeed that I can give you.

So, if you need a complete workout program, I’ll provide it. Want to combine two different programs or pursue a couple of goals simultaneously? I’ll work with you. Help with a certain exercise or movement? You bet. Diet tips? Of course!

Whatever you need in the form of coaching, I’ll make it happen. I’ll give you everything you need and ONLY what you need. Because I know you’re busy and have other priorities, too.

I also have a request, at least of my initial clients.

You must provide me with honest feedback at the end of each month. I will want to know…

  1. What I’ve been doing well
  2. What I could be doing better
  3. What you’d like me to do differently, if anything

Are You Ready? Let’s Do This!

I believe that you can do this. And if you believe it, too, then you will succeed. It all starts with a choice – a choice that you’re faced with right now.

Am I going to commit to this or not?

And if you’re not ready, and you know it, please don’t waste your time or mine.

I can’t tell you what the right choice is. But what I can tell you is that if you choose to work with me, then three months from now, you’ll look back and be glad that you made a decision to make things happen.

So, if this is something that interests you, be thinking about what you want to achieve in the next few months. Where would you like to be at the start of 2017? Where exactly? Do you want to be in better shape after the holidays than you were before?
And most importantly, ask yourself “how bad do I really want it? Am I actually willing to do whatever it takes to succeed? Or, am I just kidding myself?”

Be honest.

And if you are honest with yourself, the right choice will reveal itself. And I trust you’ll have the courage to make it.

So, let’s make 2016 the year that you finally made it happen, whatever that means for you.

One last thing…

I will not accept anyone as my client unless you can figuratively sign your name to the following statements:

  • I have a burning desire to succeed.
  • I believe that I can and will succeed.
  • I will do whatever it takes to succeed.
  • I will listen to my coach, trust his expertise, and do what he says.
  • I may have bad days, make mistakes, or miss something, but I will always persevere.
  • I will not give up on myself, no matter what.
  • Failure is not an option.
  • I AM DOING THIS – one way or another, come hell or high water.

If you can commit that to yourself in full confidence, then please click the link below to fill out an application. Make a decision to change the course of your life starting today. You’ll be glad you did.

Reminder: This is only available to a small group of people, and the price won’t be this low for long. Once the slots are filled, the doors close.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this right for me? I couldn’t tell you that without knowing a little more about you and your situation. It doesn’t hurt to ask and I absolutely will NOT pressure you to buy a package. That’s not my style. Please send me an email and I’ll reply ASAP to see if we can figure it out.

Am I too old for this? I don’t know. You tell me! But seriously, it’s never too late to start a new chapter in your health and fitness journey. As long as you are healthy enough to exercise (i.e. have been approved by your doctor), you aren’t too old for this program.

Do I need to be tech savvy to get coached online? If you can send and receive email, you have all of the technical skills necessary for this program, and you can get premium coaching from the comfort of your home.

I have an injury or another health problem. Is this program still for me? I’m sorry to hear that! Your plight is all too common. If your doctor has given you permission to work with a coach or trainer, we’ll work around whatever issues you’re dealing with. It comes with the territory.

I’m really busy. How much time do I need to devote to this? No more than 24 hours a day, at first. But seriously, you can devote as much as you want! This is personalized coaching, after all. You’ll tell me how much time that you can commit to training, and I’ll craft your program around your parameters.

I don’t have a gym membership. Will this be a problem? Not at all. I haven’t had one in years, nor do many of my clients. We need to make fitness work regardless of our life circumstances.

Shouldn’t I just hire a personal trainer? You absolutely could! And for many people, that’s the best option. However, there are some drawbacks to in-person training that my program was designed to address. Interestingly enough, I’ve found that I can get my clients better results from online coaching than from in-person personal training alone because it’s less about the session, and more about what you do with the other 167 hours per week. So, feel free to contact me if you’d like to figure out which option would be best for you.

What happens if I sign up, pay the tuition, and then decide that it’s not for me? I’m offering a 15-day money-back guarantee. So, if you email me within 15 days of your purchase and ask for your money back, it’s all yours.

This sounds great, but it’s awfully expensive. I understand your concerns. However, this program is actually about 40-60% less expensive than hiring a personal trainer 2-3 times per week, and it’s a much more effective solution for long-term success. And ironically, it’s much less expensive than what I’ve charged for my local clients. In fact, if you hired me locally today, you’d be paying at least double what I’m charging for this coaching package.

Plus, I’m not just offering fitness training, but also nutrition and mental training as well, which most personal trainers don’t offer. Add the health-first fitness philosophy to the mix and I think you’ve got a unique and highly valuable service. So, I think it’s a great deal, which is what I wanted the first time around. And you can bet your boots that my rates will only be going up in the future.

For additional clarification, this is a one on one coaching program, which is a premium service – not one of those “group coaching” packages that run mostly via software and are common online. You’re hiring me, and will be working with me individually. Naturally, this consumes a lot of my time, and my rate reflects that.

Note: if you’d like me to offer a less expensive coaching program, please complete this survey to let me know.

And if you have any questions at all, just send me an email. I’d be happy to chat with you. But don’t dilly-dally. I have a feeling that this will fill up fast.

I’m really looking forward to working with you!
