The Clubbell Mass Evolution – Complete Review

The Clubbell Mass Evolution is the premier clubbell-based, muscle building program. There are other clubbell training programs out there, but this is the first one that is exclusively for building lean muscle mass.

Clubbell Mass Evolution

My friend, Shane Heins, the creator of The Clubbell Mass Evolution

The Clubbell Mass Evolution was created by CST Head Coach, Shane Heins. I met Shane at a CST Certification seminar in 2009 and was impressed with his passion and knowledge. Don’t let the down-to-earth, “nice guy” shtick fool you. Shane is hardcore, but he balances that intensity with a sophisticated and intelligent approach in training. Shane walks the talk in his own training, and is a superb coach. He trains clients one-on-one, in small groups, and leads TACFIT group fitness classes in and around the Vancouver, BC area.

Shane claims that the Clubbell Mass Evolution (CME) will help you transform your body through the building of lean muscle tissue. He’s also very transparent about the results you should expect. This is not a maximal hypertrophy program that could pass for bodybuilding training. This is a program for developing functional, athletic muscle – a “hard body” physique, rather than a bodybuilder’s physique.

What’s makes the CME unique is the three dimensional nature of training with clubbells, and the development of strength through full ranges of complex movements. This is a systemic mass building program that is far superior to any bodybuilding, isolation, or split routine for the purposes of functional hypertrophy. You aren’t just training individual muscle groups, but stimulating the entire body to add muscle, which is how our physiology works. Not only that, but the entire program is periodized to have you progress from simple to complex movements while cycling training variables in order to maximize the potential muscle gain. The CME program is extremely well laid out and can be adapted and used by anyone with clubbells and a desire to pack on some functional muscle.

TACFIT Warrior Review: Reinvent Yourself One Workout at a Time

TACFIT WarriorUpon first glance, TACFIT Warrior, is just another great bodyweight exercise program to add to your collection. After further inspection, you’ll quickly realize that there’s a lot more to TACFIT Warrior than just some unique and effective workouts. If you look deeper, you’ll learn that TACFIT Warrior is actually an entry-level, experience-based fitness program for rewiring your conscious and unconscious thoughts and behaviors through physical exercise. It’s a how-to template for achieving mental clarity and perpetual success, using your body as the channel for expressing that success.

Anyone can take the TACFIT Warrior workouts and receive exceptional physical results from them. This type of program will absolutely help you burn fat, build muscle, and develop remarkable conditioning levels. This is to be expected from any TACFIT or Circular Strength Training product that Scott Sonnon has released. But the physical results are only the beginning of this potentially life-changing program. Scott has also interwoven a mental component directly into the programming. This is the hallmark feature of TACFIT Warrior because it teaches you how to apply the lessons you learn in training to help you achieve positive results in other areas of your life, too.

The TACFIT Warrior Challenge Workouts

TACFIT Warrior is a new bodyweight fitness program that will be released next week. I’ve been privileged to preview an early copy of the full program to review for my readers (Update: Click here for the complete product review or Click here for the accompanying FAQ page). There’s a lot of material, and I’ll need some time to go through everything this weekend. In the mean time, here is a quick glimpse into the TACFIT Warrior program…

Will You Take the TACFIT Warrior Workout Challenge?

These two workouts represent two of the 5 difficulty levels included in the full TACFIT Warrior program and are considered benchmarks for measuring your progress.

One of the unique aspects of all TACFIT workouts is that they are scalable to your level of conditioning. Whether you’re a complete beginner to any type of fitness training, or a seasoned veteran with high conditioning levels, you’ll find the right amount of a challenge from any TACFIT program.

The TACFIT protocol uses a strategy called movement sophistication to moderate how much challenge there is for each user. The overall program design is the same, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced trainee. However, each exercise is presented in varying difficulty levels. Recruit-level exercises are easier than Grunt-level exercises, and so on and so forth. Every exercise contained in the program has 5 different levels of difficulty. The more sophisticated the exercise, the greater challenge it presents. This ensures that every person gets the same overall benefits that the program design offers, but can also progress based on your current conditioning level. Anyone will be able to find a level that they’re comfortable with – not too easy, and not too hard (but still quite challenging).

Here is an example of one round from each difficulty level…

Everything you ever wanted to know about clubbells – the world’s best club swinging tool for strength training.

John Sifferman - front leverage press with 45 lb clubbell

The clubbell is a club swinging tool that is primarily used for strength and conditioning, fitness training, and athletic performance enhancement. I’ve been using clubbells regularly since 2006, and it’s about time that I give this great piece of equipment the attention it deserves. I’ve seen what they’re capable of, and to tell you the truth, I’m very impressed.

Given that clubbells are not cheap, you should probably know the whole story before making your first purchase. I know what it’s like being a first-time buyer – you’re skeptical. I was too. Back when I first learned of clubbells, I was a fresh out-of-college, soon-to-be married personal trainer with very little disposable income. Every penny counted, and I wasn’t about to blow a bunch of money on a scam product that would collect dust in my home gym. I needed to know if it would be worth the investment BEFORE I spent my hard-earned cash.

The RMAX organization makes some bold claims concerning the clubbell. Truth be told, I think some of them are way over the top, but that doesn’t mean I would discourage anyone from looking into purchasing a clubbell. It’s just important to educate yourself and understand the TRUE advantages, disadvantages, and proper applications before you pull out that credit card.

This review is meant to help you in two ways: 1) learn all about the clubbell training tool itself, and, 2) decide if it’s right for your situation. I’d also like to offer you a free gift if you do decide to invest in the clubbell.

Clubbell Review Components:

1) Learn all about the Clubbell equipment itself in the Product Review (videos): This is where you’ll get all of your product-related questions answered, including detailed information about what the clubbell is, what it’s made of, quality and design considerations, what makes it unique, and who the clubbell is best suited for (and not best suited for).

2) Determine if the Clubbell is the right training tool for you: This section will deal specifically with who can benefit from the clubbell, and who cannot. If you’re trying to make up your mind about whether the clubbell is right for YOU and your circumstances, then this section will provide you with the answers you need.

You’re about to get an inside look at what clubbells are REALLY all about. This is a long product review, as I wanted to err on the thorough side and try to cover everything. So, let’s take a detailed look at the clubbell, the world’s best club swinging tool.

The “Beg For Mercy” Extreme Fitness Workout, and why I dare you NOT to do it

Extreme Fitness Workout
Truly extreme fitness workouts are few and far between. Most workout programs don’t even entertain the notion of extreme fitness and are often designed to convince wimps that they’re working harder than they really are. These wannabe workouts are common among personal trainers who are worried that their clients may injure themselves while under the tutelage of a so-called professional. There’s a safety valve right in the programming for liability purposes. The rationale behind it is, “don’t give them an extreme workout, or they might hurt themselves.” Pansies.

Then again, there are some workouts that cannot be skimped on – some where you can’t put in a half-effort. There is no wiggle-room in the program design. If you’re going to complete this type of workout, you’re going to work your tail off – and it’s not going to be pleasant.

Don't Buy Russian Kettlebells Until After You've Seen This

You’d be crazy to buy Russian kettlebells after you’ve seen how much the prices are marked up. See up-to-date prices from several of the leading kettlebell manufacturers below.

Russian Kettlebells

Russian Kettlebells

So, I was in the market for some new kettlebells and I decided to do some market research to find the best deals online. What I found was part liberating and part infuriating. After a little bit of shopping around, numbers crunching, and adding all the data to a spreadsheet, the results were downright shocking. I quickly discovered that one of the leading retailers for Russian kettlebells have their products consistently marked up over 200% from its competitors. Now, I can understand a marginal markup, but when you have the ability to offer your products at 50% off and STILL be more expensive than the competitors, something is wrong. Even shipping is more expensive than some of the competition.

One leading retailer for Russian kettlebells (I won’t mention names… yet) sells a 16kg Kettlebell for $125.95. That price is for a single kettlebell shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states of the continental USA. Another leading retailer for Russian kettlebells charges $54.95 for the same type of kettlebell – and that also includes shipping.

Now, I’m no math whiz, but that’s a big price difference and a LOT of money to be saved from a comparable product. Here’s the math… Continue reading Don’t Buy Russian Kettlebells Until After You’ve Seen This
