At long last, Erwan Le Corre has set a date for the first official MovNat training seminars in the United States. They will be held in West Virginia at the beautiful Summersville Lake. In case you’re not familiar with Erwan yet, take a look at his MovNat video:

In a little over 12 hours, both of Erwan’s seminars have already filled up (and Erwan is now trying to book the Summersville Lake resort for another week), and for good reason – this is a revolutionary philosophy about physical living, and physical culture enthusiasts are going to go BONKERS over the MovNat system in the coming months and years.
I’ve been working with Erwan to help him obtain his O-1 Visa that will allow him to move to the U.S. and teach MovNat on a more permanent basis, including certifying coaches in natural movement methods. I feel honored to be able to help someone that has so much to offer our sedentary, dis-eased, and physically disconnected culture. Erwan has a heart for people that want to rediscover the joy of natural human movement, and his passion is contagious.

Very interesting! Are you going to be going to any sessions in WV? I would love to attend but finances at the moment do not allow. Are you planning on bringing MovNat to New England? (You are in New England right?)

I’m registered for the first Expansion course in WV this August. It’s funny you mention bringing MovNat to New England. Don’t quote me on this, but there’s a chance that Erwan may come to New England, where there seems to be quite a bit of interest in learning MovNat. I may be helping co-coordinate a MovNat mini-workshop with another fitness professional from Maine. I’m in NH. This hasn’t been confirmed or announced yet. It’s only an idea at this stage, and may not happen at all.
Whether or not something happens this fall, Erwan is working on obtaining his O-1 Visa that will allow him to teach MovNat in the US for 3 years – possibly even opening a facility of his own.
