QUESTION: Would You Like Me To Create A New Program With The Latest Developments and Most Effective Methods For Serious Core Training To Help You Get The Best Abs Your Genetics Can Provide? Please Let Me Know! (SURVEY)
Note: I’ve had an idea for a unique abs and core training product in the back of my mind for awhile now, and this page is serving as a survey to see if there’s enough interest to justify me working on it. If it’s something you’d be interested in and there’s a good response from my readers, then I’ll create the product for you. Fair enough?
The survey below will give me a general idea of the overall interest level, but the main feedback I’ll be evaluating is how many people sign up for the product’s waiting list BELOW the survey.
So, if this is something you’re definitely interested in, please don’t just answer the survey and disappear. Read this page – or just scan the bold points – and if you’d like me to keep you posted on product developments and the launch special offer, then sign up for the waiting list using the form below. Thank you!
The Next Evolution in Serious Core Training
If you want great abs – the best abs your genetics can provide – then you need a strong core. And the best way to get a strong core is to train your whole body in all three dimensions through the six degrees of freedom.
And if you’d like to get in on that action, you can get on the waiting list for my upcoming abs and core training program – with access to a major discount not available to the public, special bonuses, and more free perks. Sign up using the form below (limited time only!) or learn more about it on the rest of this page:
Why the Six Degrees of Freedom is the Next Evolution in Serious Core Training
Now, if you’re not familiar with that terminology, the six degrees of freedom – or 6DOF, for short – it simply refers to how an object moves through space. So, for instance, the human body can move forward and backward (e.g. running), left and right (e.g. side lunges), and upwards and downwards (e.g. squats). That’s three degrees of movement freedom. But the body can also rotate, too. You can bend forward/backward, tilt left/right, and twist left/right. This is just how the human body moves.
So, it makes sense to train it that way if you want optimal results since the body adapts best to training movements, not muscles. And obviously you’ll want to use exercises that require you (and your core, primary working joints, etc.) to move in those various ways.
And get this, once you start training through the six degrees of freedom, not only will you be building phenomenal core strength (because you’re training it via multiple positions/movements/angles/etc.), but you’ll also sculpt your midsection and bring out your finest visual expression of strength. Obviously, your physical performance will improve from the development of total body core strength, but what most people don’t realize is that your body will start to look the part, too – even though you’re not specifically training for looks.
Basically, if you train for strength, three-dimensionally, and through all six degrees of freedom, you’ll get great abs as a natural result.
This is training from the inside out. This is health-first fitness in action.
Why Most People Struggle to Get Six Pack Abs
Most people who struggle to get leaner, flatten their belly, and get six pack abs fall into at least one (and usually more than one) of the following categories…
- They train the “show muscles” with an endless amount of crunches and situps – sometimes daily – and hope that if they just do enough, they’ll finally get the abs they want (more more MORE!). And if they’re in the know, they might even throw in a rotational exercise, too, and call their exercise program functional (like many personal trainers do). But here’s the thing: you can do crunches and situps until you’re blue in the face and your abs are on fire, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to get six pack abs. And you definitely won’t get great abs with that strategy.
- They do a variety of core exercises, but are still fixating on one or two types of movement patterns – often without even knowing it – and they neglect the many other movements and functions that the core is capable of and needs for optimal development.
- They only focus on “compound exercises” without doing any direct core work – hoping that multi-joint exercises with heavy loads will be enough of a stimulus. Of course, this is a good overall strategy for many reasons, but it’s still not the best strategy for getting a rockin’ set of abs.
- Finally, many people simply don’t get lean enough to actually see their abs. If you’re like most people, you’ve got a layer of belly fat covering your abdominal musculature. So, obviously, you’ve got to lower your body fat level enough to reveal the “six pack,” and that usually requires some sort of dietary approach in addition to physical training. So, if you’re not already naturally lean – and most people aren’t – and you’re not taking your diet into consideration, then you can forget about getting six pack abs.
Now, as I’ve said before, if you want a nice set of six pack abs – or maybe just a leaner midsection, flat belly, etc. – the best way to go about it is to build a strong core by training your whole body in all three dimensions through the six degrees of freedom. This clears up so many problems.
Why You Should STOP Doing Crunches and Situps
In case you missed the memo, for most people, crunches and situps are not necessarily the best exercises to be doing – period. And contrary to popular belief, no, you don’t have to do crunches and situps to build a strong core and develop the ab muscles. In fact, we probably shouldn’t do them.
Dr. Stuart McGill, who is a world-renowned spine biomechanics specialist and is considered a leading authority on core development, has been saying for years that traditional crunches and situps usually lead to spinal injuries – among other things – and that there are much safer and even more effective ways to train the abs and core musculature, in general – like the many plank exercises, for example (among many others). And he’s got plenty of research to back that up.
Fortunately, this idea is starting to reach the mainstream, and more people are looking into alternative core training methods such as using planks. In fact, one of my top posts of all time (ie highest traffic, most shared, etc.) is a 5 minute plank challenge where I demonstrate a variety of three dimensional plank exercises.
The success of that post and several others has got me thinking about expanding on my free tutorials and creating a much more comprehensive, premium workout program using the system that I’ve been using myself and with my clients for years.
Announcing John Sifferman’s Upcoming 3D Core Strength System
It’s about time that someone should create a three-dimensional abs and core training workout program that integrates the six degrees of freedom into the curriculum. In fact, I see this as the next logical step in the realm of core training and getting six pack abs – the next evolution, if you will.
And lucky for you, I’ve got a brand new 3D abs and core training program that’s been in the beta-testing stage for years, if you can believe it. It’s been working like gangbusters with my beta-testers. And today, I’m asking YOU if you’d like me to create the full-scale program for you.
So, if you want a great set of six pack abs – or maybe just a leaner midsection, flatter belly, etc. – AND you want to burn some fat to get a little leaner, stronger, and healthier – maybe even ripped – AND if you’re busy and need an extremely time-efficient program, then sign up for the VIP Waiting List using the form below. And I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s ready.
LIMITED TIME OPPORTUNITY – SIGN UP FOR THE VIP WAITING LIST BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
So, here’s the thing. I am only going to bust my butt working on this project if YOU want me to. The reason is that it’ll be a lot of work (as I learned when I created my last program, The Pull-up Solution). And these days, time is at a premium with a bunch of Siffer-kids running around, among other things. And so, I need to be crystal clear on what you want so that I’m using my time wisely.
So, if you’d be at-all interested in a 3D core strengthening system that is designed to help you build a strong core, burn stubborn belly fat, flatten your tummy, sculpt your midsection, and get six pack abs, then let me know by signing up for the waiting list below. This is the gauge I’ll use to measure the overall interest level. If I receive enough interest, then I’ll create the program. And if the interest absolutely explodes, I’ll do my best to get it done ASAP – maybe even before Christmas. So, if you’re interested, get on the waiting list using the form below.
And hey, if you sign up, I’ll even throw in a free abs and core workout just because: The Best Core Workout For Maximum Abdominal Muscle Activation (Research-Proven). I call it the “WHOA MAMA!” Core Workout, and I think you’ll love it.
Note: I’m only going to keep this open for a limited time for you fast action-takers. You can thank me later.
Note: here’s what will happen after you sign up…
After confirming your subscription (a step I have in place to make sure you want to subscribe), you’ll be added to my private “waiting list” for the potential upcoming launch of my new core training program. In the event that I don’t get very many signups because there just isn’t enough interest, then I will not contact you for any reason and will eventually delete this email newsletter from my database. I don’t anticipate that will happen, but it could.
Now, if I do get enough interest, then I will create the product ASAP and release it to you first at a significantly discounted price that will not be available to the public. I may also include some exclusive bonuses and gifts as well – haven’t gotten that far yet. Basically, if the launch happens, you’ll get all the perks I can think of to offer you. I take care of my customers. And if you’re on this waiting list, then you’re a VIP member.
Oh, and by the way, your personal information is safe with me. I won’t spam you or give away your contact info to anyone for any reason whatsoever. That’s standard practice around here.
So, go ahead and subscribe. You’ll receive a confirmation email, in which you’ll have to click on a link in order to confirm your subscription and claim your free workout. I’ll take care of the rest.
Note: if you have any questions, thoughts, or comments, please leave a comment below or contact me.
Please let me know about your 3D Core Strength System
Thanks for your interest, Christine. I just manually added you to my waiting list.
I would be interested, please put me on list. Thanks
Thanks for your interest, Jeth – just added you to the waiting list.
Please let me know about this program! So excited to get my abs back in shape!
I am definitely interested in this program. I have been following the 30 days to a 5 minute plank and rock hard abs for a couple months now and it has helped me allot!! I am a mountain biker and I could really tell the difference in my bike control skills after working on this program.
Hey John, Very interested! Have been working through the Pull-Up Solution and it has been an enlightening epiphany to an exercise that has frustrated me for too many decades! Would really like to see not only the ab workout but the “John Sifferman Approach” to push-ups and ALL of the basic exercise WITH weights – with all of the minute details that make your approach so valuable. Thanks for all that you have shared and looking forward to more.
Please add me to your list also. thank you much.
John,
Thank you for all of your suggestions.
I am interested in your exercise programs. I am doing the plank. I have to stop after 1 minute. I could go longer except my toes give out. Any suggestions……?
Margaret
Hi Margaret,
Make sure you are locked your knees and pressing your heels backward during your plank. If that doesn’t take care of it, rest on your knees instead of your toes – keeping your knees “walked back” as far as possible. You can also work on these ankle and foot strengthening exercises, which should help.
