I got some advice from my coach, Scott Sonnon, that has really stayed with me. Scott said to try one new exercise every day. Try something that makes you feel like a motor moron as often as you can. This puts us in an immediate position as student, and gives us an opportunity to learn about ourselves and grow. With that said, here is a video demonstrating an exercise you probably haven’t tried before.
Leg Swoop and Leg Thread
These exercises are fantastic for teaching core activation, and will strengthen your core muscles all throughout. They are also excellent for improving and strengthening the range of motion at the hip joint.
